The Anatomy Teaching Special Interest Group is focused on developing and empowering an anatomy community of practice encompassing all aspects of anatomy teaching and the scholarship of learning. This includes developing teaching practices that include innovative pedagogy like team-based learning, concept mapping, innovative assessment methodology and technology enabled-learning (e.g. adaptive tutorials, m-learning, use of social media). Of particular interest is the development of integrated medical sciences learning tools for formative and summative assessment for students of professional degree programs.
